Hello everyone..its time to talk about the last accommodation here provided in Uniten which is named Cendekiawan.It is almost like Murni, with 10 floors and a lift at each block, only it was oocupied by men.
Apart from Amanah,Cendekiawan has larger rooms, hence larger accommodation fees.Each room has another 4 rooms occupied for one person only so there will be 4 people in one roof.Cendekiawan was a one strategic place for residence as it is near to a lot of facilities provided by Uniten such as the gym, tennis court and swimming pool.There is also a cafe provided in DSS hall near the apartment too.Overall,the students who lived in Cendekiawan could reach lots of basic need for their comfort living.
Cendekiawan was situated near to College of Information Technology(COIT) but a liitle far from College of Engineering and College of Foundation and General Studies(CFGS).Although this happens, COE and COIT students can took a bus to go to their colleges.The apartment also has its own club that organised such events to create a fun living environment in the apartment.
Let me brief about one of accomodation provided in Uniten which is Murni. Murni is location behind COE foodcourt. Murni has 3 buildings, which is Murni 1(M1),Murni 2(M2) and Murni 3(M3). Each building has 10 level and provided 2 lifts.This will make easier for students to go level 10 or any higher level easily without climbing the staircase. Each level consists of 10 rooms. Moreover,Murni 1 and Murni 2 is fully for girls whereas Murni 3 is for international married couples who study at Uniten, which consist of male and female. Each apartment at Murni has 4 single bed rooms. Those students who does not like staying in sharing apartment, they always welcome to stay at Murni. The fees for Murni is RM280 and fees per sem is RM1120.Each apartment is consist of four rooms, kitchen, study table and balcony. Students can always feel like staying in own house.Plus each room in Murni is provided LAN where student can always access internet in their rooms.
Furthermore, there is commitee in Murni which they always have activities for Murni'ans. the best part in SCORUN is provided to those who take part in activity.Yet, student can always complain if they find any problem staying in Murni to the people in charge that is residance of Murni, Puan Zue. Yet, there is guard house right infront Murni, where guard are on duty for 24 hours without fail. They are very friendly but they always never fail to follow their responsibility, They dont allow any unauthorized person enter Murni for safety purpose. They check in detail and keep identification card of particular person who entered Murni, and they return back the IC once the person left murni. The time limit for girls to enter murni is before 12am, after 12am student should report theirself at guardhouse before they enter Murni.
Plus, I also been staying in Murni like a year plus. I find Murni is a very comfortable place to stay although the price is quite expansive. I prefer stay in single room because i need privacy lot. So Murni is the best choice for me!!
Welcome again to all again. Today I will talk on the topic accommodation in Uniten. My main forces here is on the girls hostel named ‘ILMU’. Ilmu can be considered as an old apartments compared to others because it was build since 1994.
Ilmu is considered as a twin sharing hostel where two person in a room and 4 person in a house. However, they will be provided with separate beds, cup board and study table to the students. The hostel is consists of two rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a hall. Where, if compare with other universities UNITEN accommodation is considered as a high class living hostel because most universities provide dorm type hostel.
The monthly rental per month is also reasonable which is RM200, compare to the single hostel which is a little expensive. Ilmu do provide all the facilities needed by the student in their hostel life. There is a laundry provided to the students as a help for the students daily life. Besides, they do provide study rooms to the students where they can conduct gathering or meeting or etc at there. In fact there is also TV provided to the students as a media to relax they self or as an entertainment.
Besides because ‘ILMU’ is a girl’s hostel, UNITEN do provide full guarded environment to all the students and a curfew is used to avoid or stop student from going out and coming back late night. This curfew will begin from 12am till 6.30am.
In conclusion, ‘ILMU’ will be the best choice if u are looking for a reasonable price hostel with a gathered environment because staying with others will make us learn more about others life style and have a different knowing on others.

With this joyful evening, we would like to give an informative post about the accommodation facilities in University Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). UNITEN provides accommodation service to their students. Most of the students will get hostel to stay in campus. Usually students who are active in UNITEN's campus activity, excel in studies and has good disciplinary attitude will get a higher chance of getting hostels on campus. UNITEN have 4 types accommodation type that are known as Ilmu , Amanah, Cendikiawan and Murni.
Today, I will write about Amanah Hostel. Amanah is accommodation for only male students studying in UNITEN. Amanah is a new a accommodation building build in UNITEN compared to Cendikiawan, Murni and Ilmu. So, this building is nicer and new compared to others. Amanah is a twin-sharing hostel that means 2 person will share a room. An apartment in Amanah consists of 2 rooms, 1 bathroom, 1 toilet , a kitchen and a balcony. This means an apartment will be occupied by 4 persons.
Rental rate for this apartment is RM200.00 per month (4 weeks) and this will sum up to RM 800.00 per semester (16 weeks). This is the cheapest apartment that available in UNITEN. For those who prefer to stay in a sharing room, this will be a perfect choice. Another advantage of staying in Amanah is here each room is fitted with two LAN (Local Area Network) port. This means an apartment consist of 4 LAN port, each for everyone.
In the year February 2011, UNITEN have decide to install prepaid electric meter in all the apartments. Thus, students need to top up the electric meter when necessary. The amount of electric bill will be less compared to those who staying in single. This is because students will be sharing most of the electric appliances like light and fan. In security wise, all the rooms are fitted with extra lock. This enhance the security of the room.
For students who expecting a room which is cheap and best, Amanah will be a perfect choice !!!!
Warm welcome to all, the topic we going to discuss today is accomodation in Uniten There is four type of accommodation provided in Uniten Putrajaya, which is two for boys and other two for girls.All the accommodation is designed apartment style.
